# API reference

The full OpenAPI 3.0 specification for the public Developer API is rendered below. Every route, request body, response schema, and error is enumerated here — the guides link into this page, not the other way around.

## Download the spec

The raw spec is served at both places:

* **Live** — `GET https://developers.gallantreecapital.com/api/v1/openapi` (always in sync with what's deployed).
* **Repo snapshot** — [`openapi.json`](https://github.com/Token-Gesture/lms/tree/main/docs/developer-portal/reference/openapi.json) (regenerated by CI on merge to `main`; use for code generation without a network round-trip).

Both endpoints emit the same content. The live endpoint is what these docs' "Try it" panel authenticates against; the repo snapshot is what you'd feed to `openapi-generator`, `orval`, or your SDK build.

## What's covered

The spec includes every `/api/v1/*` route. Internal platform routes (`/api/*` outside `/api/v1/*`) are excluded — they are not part of the public developer surface and their contract can change without notice.

If you find a route in the spec that's not documented in a guide (or vice versa), that's a bug — [tell us](https://github.com/Token-Gesture/lms/issues/new) so we can close the gap.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://developers.gallantreecapital.com/reference/openapi.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
